Steve Ross

Chovadé was founded by Steve Ross, a Vancouver-based creative technologist with more than 25 years in computer graphics and 17 years in high-end film and television compositing. His experience spans senior and lead roles at studios including Industrial Light & Magic, Framestore, Method Studios, MPC, and Digital Domain.

At Chovadé, Steve brings that production experience to local-first generative filmmaking—combining concept development, visual direction, shot review, continuity, compositing, and final delivery in one hands-on process. Every project remains human-directed, and clients work directly with the person making the work.
